Employment Associate / Senior Associate

The role

Irwin Mitchell is seeking an experienced Employment Associate or Senior Associate (4-8 years PQE) to join their employer-focused practice in Leeds or Sheffield. This role involves advising a diverse range of employer clients on both contentious and non-contentious employment law matters.

What you'll do

• Advise employers on day-to-day employment issues as well as complex and sensitive matters
• Represent clients in Employment Tribunal claims and higher court proceedings
• Work closely with clients’ HR and leadership teams as a trusted adviser
• Lead matters and client relationships with appropriate supervision and support
• Contribute to business development activity and help grow the team’s client base
• Support and mentor junior lawyers
• Collaborate with colleagues across the regional and national employment team to deliver a seamless service
