Senior Associate - Corporate/M&A at Corrs Chambers Westgarth

The role

Corrs Chambers Westgarth is seeking a Senior Associate for their Corporate/M&A team in Sydney. This role is for lawyers with 4+ years of experience in corporate law, focusing on M&A and corporate advisory, and will involve working directly with partner Felicity Saxon.

What you'll do

Work on substantial, complex, and interesting transactions
Work across a broad range of transactions including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and corporate advisory
Advise clients and boards on governance and securities laws and regulatory matters involving FIRB, ASX and ASIC

What we're looking for

4+ PQE experience in a leading corporate practice

Experience with national or international firms

Acting for top tier corporate and financial sponsor clients

Commercially minded

Potential/capability to lead a deal

High attention to detail

Strong drafting and negotiating skills

Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively

Experience in M&A transactions· nice to have

Experience in joint ventures· nice to have

Experience in corporate advisory· nice to have

Experience advising clients and boards on governance and securities laws· nice to have

Experience advising on regulatory matters involving FIRB, ASX and ASIC· nice to have
