Senior Associate, Employment

The role

Fieldfisher is seeking a Senior Associate for its Employment practice in London, Manchester, or Birmingham. This role is for an experienced lawyer to advise a diverse client base on a broad range of employment law matters.

What you'll do

• Contribute to the negotiation of profitable fee levels for a variety of clients
• Work on large client matters with limited supervision
• Delegate work to more junior colleagues and manage their performance
• Manage upwards effectively by making best use of partner/director time
• Project manage BD activities
• Use interaction to win new work from existing clients and contacts
• Recognise where changes in law may require amendments to precedents and take action
• Implement knowledge sharing initiatives within the team and client base
• Actively seek publication or speaking opportunities
