Solicitor / Associate - Real Estate Litigation at DWF

The role

DWF is seeking an accomplished Solicitor/Associate for its Real Estate Litigation team in Manchester, Leeds, or Newcastle. This role is for an experienced lawyer to handle a variety of commercial property disputes for high-profile clients, working within a supportive and ambitious team.

What you'll do

Advise on the legal and commercial implications of all types of commercial property dispute
Work with DWF's Legal Operations and Business Services divisions
Take support from DWF's division of real estate paralegals
Develop and grow your own relationships with existing and new clients
Develop and grow relationships with internal clients such as transactional Real Estate
Demonstrate and live firm and team values
Be open to innovation opportunities

What we're looking for

Previous experience and technical knowledge in commercial real estate litigation

Experience with 1954 Act lease renewals (opposed and unopposed)

Experience with serving notices (contractual and statutory notices)

Experience with dilapidations disputes and settlements

Experience with boundary and right of way issues

Experience with rent arrears and landlord remedies including forfeiture

Experience with court proceedings

Experience with CRAR

The willingness to take ownership of your work

A desire to deliver a top client service across a range of sectors

Taking a positive, friendly, supportive and collegiate approach to working with others

The desire to develop lasting relationships with clients
