The role

Fieldfisher is seeking an Associate with an Employment practice area focus to join their team in London, Manchester, or Birmingham. This role is for an experienced lawyer who will provide pragmatic, commercially focused advice to a diverse client base on a broad range of employment law matters.

What you'll do

• Manage billing processes for clients
• Participate in the preparation of knowledge updates and seminars for clients
• Actively seek professional development opportunities and more responsibility
• Delegate to more junior members of the team
• Work with other fee earners to develop relationships with new business prospects
• Use interaction to cross-sell and look for BD opportunities
• Identify the major sources of legal precedents for practice area, both in house and external
• Share knowledge and experience with colleagues in different ways, e.g. training
