The role

Norton Rose Fulbright is seeking a Senior Associate to join their Environment & Planning practice group in Brisbane. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of PQE and involves a mix of litigation, advice, and transaction work focused on planning law.

What you'll do

Engage in a mix of litigation, advice and transaction work focussed on planning law issues
Handle planning approvals and appeals
Manage major project approvals
Negotiate planning agreements
Work on land acquisition matters
Provide advice and conduct due diligence

What we're looking for

A minimum of 5 years PQE gained within a reputable Environment & Planning practice

Experience in the conduct of proceedings relating to planning matters, including the Planning and Environment Court

Strong time management & organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects and conflicting priorities simultaneously

Excellent verbal and written communication skills including strong drafting skills

An interest in mentoring Associates, Lawyers and Graduates
