Core Real Estate Associate, Southampton at BCLP

The role

BCLP is seeking a Core Real Estate Associate with 1+ years of PQE to join their market-leading Real Estate practice in Southampton. This role involves working on a broad portfolio of asset management, sales, purchases, financings, and development transactions for a diverse client base.

What you'll do

Provide advice on a broad portfolio of asset management work, managing own matters
Work on sales, purchases and financings with supervision and training
Draft and negotiate documents to ensure they meet client requirements
Provide advice to clients to ensure their interests are protected and laws/regulations are adhered to
Be part of key client teams working with colleagues in other BCLP offices
Begin to develop client relationships
Get involved with development transactions ranging from acquisition of brownfield sites to town centre regeneration projects

What we're looking for

1+ PQE

Solid commercial real estate experience

Analytical and drafting skills

Desire to deliver a high quality legal service

Flexibility and adaptability to manage work proactively

Ability to manage time and priorities effectively

Commercial focus with knowledge of key areas of law

Ability to provide clear, concise, practical advice

Willingness to learn and grow legal skills and knowledge
