The role
Cooley is seeking a General Corporate Attorney with 1-2 years of experience to join their Los Angeles office. This role will focus on M&A within the firm's dynamic corporate practice, which advises clients in technology, life sciences, and other high-growth industries.
What we're looking for

A background reflecting a strong interest in corporate practice
Demonstrated interest in or experience with emerging companies and venture capital (EC/VC)
Demonstrated interest in or experience with debt and equity financings
Demonstrated interest in or experience with mergers and acquisitions
Demonstrated interest in or experience with capital markets
Demonstrated interest in or experience with private equity
Demonstrated interest in or experience with other general corporate matters at a national or international law firm
High level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school
