The role
Baker McKenzie is seeking a State and Local Tax Law Clerk for their Tax practice in Chicago, Los Angeles, or New York. This part-time role is ideal for a current Tax LLM student with strong analytical and writing skills, and the ability to work effectively in a global team.
What we're looking for
Current Tax LLM student
Planning to sit for and become admitted to the applicable state Bar
Strong analytical and writing skills
Exceptional speaking and interpersonal skills
Ability to function smoothly in a global-team environment with culturally diverse team members
Benefits
Part-time schedule (15-20 hours per week)
9-12 month clerkship duration
US base compensation is expected to be $115 hourly if located in California, Illinois or New York
