The role
Wilson Sonsini is seeking a Litigation Associate with 2-5 years of PQE to join its Washington D.C. Employment & Trade Secret Litigation practice. This role focuses on management-side employment law litigation, counseling for technology companies, and advising on employment-related issues in corporate transactions.
What you'll do
- Litigate employment law cases
- Advise technology companies on employment law matters including terminations, leaves of absence, internal investigations, and reductions in force
- Review and draft employment policies
- Advise clients on employment-related issues in mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions
- Attend the D.C. office weekly
What we're looking for
2-5 years of experience in management-side employment law litigation and counseling
Experience litigating employment law cases, including matters involving covenants not to compete and trade secret disputes
Experience providing day-to-day advice to fast-growing technology companies on all aspects of employment law
Experience advising clients on employment-related issues in mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions
Excellent academic credentials
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills
Member of the Washington, D.C. Bar preferred
