The role
HopgoodGanim is seeking an Associate/Senior Associate for its Commercial Litigation team in Brisbane, Australia. This role is for a lawyer with approximately 4-5 years of post-qualification experience who will manage a broad mix of commercial disputes and advise clients.
What you'll do
- Advise clients on commercial litigation matters including energy and renewables projects and corporate and property disputes
- Draft and review legal pleadings, applications, and court documents for commercial disputes
- Conduct legal research and prepare detailed advice on commercial law matters
- Manage client relationships and maintain regular communication regarding case progress and strategy
- Prepare cases for trial
- Appear in court
- Support senior litigation practitioners
- Collaborate with colleagues on complex matters
What we're looking for
