Associate / Senior Associate – Dispute Resolution

The role

HopgoodGanim is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate with 4-5 years of experience in Dispute Resolution and Litigation to join their leading Brisbane team. This role focuses on handling professional indemnity, public liability, and general commercial litigation matters for key clients, including a prominent Queensland professional indemnity insurer.

What you'll do

• Handle professional indemnity, public liability and general commercial litigation including shareholder disputes, property disputes and private client matters
• Drive matters to settlement through negotiation, mediation and early case strategy, and litigate those that proceed
• Draft pleadings, applications and correspondence, and prepare advice on liability, contribution/apportionment, quantum and commercial risk
• Act as a day-to-day point of contact for clients on your matters, keeping them across progress and strategy
• Work directly with senior practitioners on complex, high-value matters
