The role

Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom is seeking a Litigation Associate with 4-6 years of experience for their Chicago office. The role is for mid to senior level attorneys with a strong background in complex commercial litigation, white collar matters, and related disputes.

What we're looking for

Litigation experience, including discovery, brief writing, and pre-trial preparation activity

Significant experience handling complex litigation and white collar matters

Experience with securities litigation; class actions and MDLs; cyber litigation; commercial contractual disputes; fraud, breach of fiduciary duty and tortious interference claims; merger-related litigation and control disputes; bankruptcy and restructuring-related issues; and regulatory investigation

High level of academic achievement

Experience in the Litigation practice of a peer firm

Admitted to practice law in Illinois

Exposure and interest in the cybersecurity and data privacy practice is a plus· nice to have
