Senior Associate to Special Counsel, Employment & Safety

The role

Sparke Helmore is seeking a Senior Associate or Special Counsel with 4+ years of PQE in Employment & Safety law for their Newcastle or Sydney office. This role involves advising public and private sector clients on complex workplace matters, including safety incidents, investigations, and strategic risk management, and working with partners Catherine Wilkinson and Emma Gruschka.

What you'll do

• Advise public and private sector clients on complex workplace matters, including safety incidents, investigations, prosecutions, inquests and strategic workplace risk management
• Take the lead on significant litigation and regulatory matters
• Engage directly with clients
• Mentor junior lawyers
• Contribute to team growth
• Strengthen trusted client relationships
