The role
White & Case is seeking an Associate with 3-5 years of experience to join their Antitrust/Competition practice in Silicon Valley. This role will focus on handling complex legal tasks and supporting senior lawyers in dispute resolution and case preparation within the competition law field.
What you'll do
- Support in various aspects of case preparation, including conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs, ensuring accuracy and compliance to legal standards
- Assist in developing case strategies by analyzing legal issues and contributing to strategy discussions with senior lawyers
- Coordinate discovery processes, including reviewing and organizing documents, and managing evidence collection
- Represent clients in preliminary hearings and depositions, supporting senior lawyers in trial preparations and court appearances
- Manage case files, organizing case materials, and ensuring deadlines and procedural requirements are met
- Work towards development of litigation related skills and expertise in the field
- Co-ordinate work of more junior members of the team
- Coach and develop more junior lawyers
What we're looking for
