The role
K&L Gates is seeking a midlevel Corporate M&A Associate with 3-5 years of experience for their Charleston, Charlotte, or Kansas City offices. This role focuses on M&A transactions, with a preference for candidates with private equity experience.
What you'll do
Draft, review, and negotiate merger agreements, stock purchase agreements, asset purchase agreements, letters of intent, and related documents
Manage and close M&A and related transactions
Conduct legal due diligence
Advise clients on general corporate/entity matters and business matters
What we're looking for
Three to five years of Corporate M&A experience
