The role
An Associate with 2-5 years of experience is sought by Allens to join their Projects and Construction team in Sydney. This role focuses on both the litigious and non-litigious aspects of construction and infrastructure work, advising on disputes, claims, and key project documents.
What you'll do
Advise on prosecuting and defending formal proceedings and adjudication applications arising from construction and infrastructure projects
Advise on claims and disputes arising during the contract phase of major projects
Advise on key project documents on major infrastructure and energy projects
Advise on various alternative dispute resolution processes including mediation and conciliation
Play an important role delivering client work on market-leading projects and disputes
Work closely with partners to identify and win new work opportunities
What we're looking for
2-5 years of experience
Experience in front-end and back-end construction matters at a well-regarded international or Australian firm
Broader projects and infrastructure experience
Ability to work independently
Ability to manage smaller matters and elements of larger matters
Strong team ethic
