Associate - Financial Institutions (Structured Finance) - New York

The role

McDermott Will & Schulte is seeking an Associate in their New York office with 3+ years of experience in structured finance. This role supports sophisticated structured finance and securitization matters and offers opportunities for partner/client contact.

What you'll do

• Assist with structuring, negotiating, and documenting a wide range of structured finance/securitization transactions (including, warehouse credit facilities)
• Manage transaction execution and help drive matters from early-stage structuring through closing, coordinating workstreams and deliverables across deal teams
• Assist with preparation and review of offering materials and disclosure documents (as applicable to the transaction)
• Collaborate with colleagues across practices to provide coordinated advice on complex financings
• Supervise, mentor, and help train junior associates, as appropriate for level and deal teams
