The role

Hogan Lovells Cadwalader is seeking a Tax Associate / Senior Associate with 2-6 years of PQE to join its Tax practice in London. The role involves advising UK and international clients on a range of corporate, finance, real estate, and investment fund taxation issues.

What you'll do

Lead transactions, as appropriate and depending on their complexity, reporting directly to the supervising partner
Participate in our Responsible Business program
Seek advice and guidance when appropriate
Take responsibility for project issues
Share knowledge and expertise
Record time contemporaneously
Work cost effectively to provide value to meet clients’ needs
Take ownership for own career development
Actively work to develop and strengthen new client relationships

What we're looking for

Minimum 2.1 degree

Excellent written communication and drafting skills

Two to six years post qualification experience (or equivalent experience)

Outstanding technical skills

Ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues

Ability to work well in a team

Good working knowledge and understanding of the legal principles associated with the scope of work

Strong project management and organisational skills

Good attention to detail and focus on accuracy

Resilient and able to perform effectively under pressure with good time management skills

Understands the industry and market in which the clients operate

Demonstrates commercial awareness

Experience gained within a top tier firm· nice to have
