Senior Associate / Legal Director - Employment at Hill Dickinson

The role

Hill Dickinson is seeking a Senior Associate / Legal Director for their Employment practice group. This role is based in Leeds, Liverpool, or Manchester and is suitable for an experienced employment lawyer with expertise across a broad range of employment law matters.

What you'll do

Providing legal advice to a broad range of clients on a range of employment matters
Undertake all aspects of employment law advice including drafting employment documents
Advising on employee relations issues, including disciplinary matters and grievances
Working on Employment Tribunal cases, often including whistleblowing and discrimination claims
Advising on dismissals, redundancy and restructuring
Assisting with corporate transactions including TUPE matters
Becoming involved in investigations for clients
Build and maintain client relationships
Build and maintain inter-departmental relationships with peers and key stakeholders in other teams
Supervision of junior lawyers, trainees and paralegals within the team
Contribute to business development

What we're looking for

Qualified solicitor or equivalent

Demonstrable experience supporting on contentious, non-contentious and transactional employment matters with appropriate supervision

The ability and experience of managing a caseload providing sound commercial advice

An understanding of clients’ needs and expectations· nice to have
