The role
Mallesons is seeking a Banking & Finance LFR Solicitor with 2-4 years of PQE to join their Sydney-based Finance practice. This role focuses on complex financing transactions, including project finance and structured finance, advising lenders, borrowers, and sponsors on major infrastructure and energy deals.
What you'll do
- Advise on acquisitions, refinancings and new financings for major projects and infrastructure assets
- Work on matters from early-stage structuring through to closing
- Gain exposure to both lender and sponsor-side work
- Build a broad skillset across deal structuring, execution and negotiation
What we're looking for
2-4 years PQE in a banking & finance team
Ideally with project finance or structured finance experience
Strong drafting skills and attention to detail
Commercial judgement and an interest in how projects are structured and funded
A clear interest in building a career in project finance
