Solicitor / Associate - Property Damage

The role

DWF is seeking a Solicitor or Associate with experience in property damage claims to join their Commercial Insurance team. This role is ideal for a lawyer with expertise in insurance litigation, particularly in handling property-related disputes and first and third-party property damage cases.

What you'll do

• Manage your own caseload of property related claims
• Assist as a part of a wider team on various large loss matters
• Understand client requirements and manage cases in line with service level agreements and best practice
• Analyse risk and further develop sound judgement enabling the justification of decisions to clients internally and externally
• Prioritise work effectively and to maximise efficiency in working practices
• Build working relationships internally and externally in order to develop business networks and create a solid understanding of the Firm’s direction and client needs
• Provide support and act as the 'go to person' for more junior members in the team
