Associate or Senior Associate - Major Injury & Casualty

The role

DWF is seeking an experienced Solicitor or Associate for their Major Injury & Casualty team in Glasgow. This role is for an individual with 2+ years of experience in insurance litigation, focusing on high-value, complex injury and casualty matters.

What you'll do

• Manage and progress a caseload efficiently and proactively
• Handle litigated EL/PL and Motor claims in the Court of Session and the All-Scotland Personal Injury Sheriff Court
• Apply strong technical knowledge of litigation, case law and legal principles
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients
• Ensure delivery against SLAs and best practice standards
• Support and take ownership on complex, high-value cases
• Continuously develop technical and commercial expertise
• Coach, mentor and develop more junior members of the team
• Conduct detailed investigations
• Develop case strategies
• Attend court
• Instruct Counsel on a variety of matters
