The role
Hogan Lovells Cadwalader is seeking a junior to mid-level Associate for its Structured Finance & Derivatives Practice Group in New York, Charlotte, or Los Angeles. This role focuses on esoteric asset-backed securitization and requires 2-5 years of relevant legal experience.
What we're looking for
2-5 years of relevant legal experience in esoteric asset-backed securitization
Membership in, or eligibility for admission to the New York, North Carolina, or California Bar
Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school
Member of the Bar in the United States
Intellectually curious, highly reliable, motivated, and eager to learn
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong sense of ownership, proactively advancing matters, and managing discrete workstreams with increasing independence
Excellent judgment
Strong organizational skills
Ability to collaborate effectively across teams
Interest in cross-border transactions
Ability to work seamlessly with colleagues and clients across different jurisdictions and cultures
Relevant finance-related experience including structured finance, leveraged finance, asset finance, banking, project finance or fund finance· nice to have
