Grade A Solicitor AOD North at Irwin Mitchell

The role

Irwin Mitchell is seeking a Grade A Solicitor with approximately 8-12 years' PQE to join its Asbestos and Occupational Disease team in Newcastle. The role involves running a litigated caseload of asbestos and occupational disease claims and assisting senior colleagues on complex matters.

What you'll do

Manage your own litigated caseload
Assist senior colleagues on high value or complex matters
Work closely with clients and their families
Provide exceptional legal advice to clients
Secure justice for clients

What we're looking for

Approximately 8-12 years PQE

Strong background in Asbestos and Occupational Disease litigation

Experience managing your own caseload

Assisting Partners and senior team members on high value cases

Excellent oral and written communication skills

High quality drafting

Undertaking detailed legal research

Ability to work with empathy and integrity

Confidence to hit the ground-running

Ability to work independently on litigated cases
