The role

This role is for a Senior Associate/Principal Associate in Insurance Disputes at Mills & Reeve in London. It is for an ambitious lawyer with significant experience in professional indemnity matters, focusing primarily on defending claims on behalf of insurers and their insureds, particularly those involving solicitors and accountants.

What you'll do

• Advise insurers and insured professionals on professional negligence claims and associated commercial disputes
• Advise on coverage and policy interpretation issues
• Advise on multi-party and high-value litigation
• Advise on regulatory and disciplinary matters affecting professionals
• Advise on risk management and claims mitigation
• Manage your own caseload
• Work closely with insurer and insured clients
• Supervise junior lawyers
• Play an active role in developing client relationships and growing the practice
