The role
Holland & Knight is seeking a Real Estate Finance Associate with 2-5 years of PQE to join their New York team. This role will focus on representing institutional lenders in sophisticated commercial real estate financing transactions.
What you'll do
- Manage financing transactions from inception through closing
- Draft and negotiate loan documents and related financing instruments
- Review title, survey, zoning and other due diligence materials
- Coordinate with clients, borrowers’ counsel and other transaction participants
What we're looking for
2-5 years of experience representing institutional lenders in commercial real estate financing transactions
Excellent academic credentials
Experience with construction loans, syndicated and securitized loans, mezzanine financing, intercreditor and co-lender arrangements, and other complex capital structures· nice to have
Experience with loan modifications, workouts or restructurings· nice to have
Large regional, national or international law firm experience· nice to have
